There is no 1.0d patch. Only the 1.0c that we have in the granary.

The 1.0d patch is for AoE II Age of Kings. As is the 1.0e, it is a third party patch, which has the good intention of preventing all known cheats from working. It's used mostly in Rated Death Match and Tournament games. 1.0c however is the most recent official release by Microsoft/Ensemble, and Microsoft/Ensemble does not support 1.0e.
Most who use and promote 1.0d and 1.0e are players who wish to avoid cheaters. There are no cheat programs known to work with 1.0e.

I'm talking about the unofficial 'd' patch. It's for AoE the original; people on the zone use it.

The Zone uses the 1.0c patch. And wouldn't an unoffical patch be illegal?

It is Kings that uses the 1.0d patch on the Zone that the players made.

I had a 1.0d patch for AoE starting around 2 years ago, and had it up until the time I had the game uninstalled which was like a few months ago. I don't doubt that the AoK has a d patch. I know that I had one for AoE. Do any of you guys know like boozer, or the btks, or exo or any of the other rm experts on the zone? Because I know they have it and maybe they could help me. Oh well I'll just try and find some knowns e-mail. Thanks anyway.

Ive seen a "1.0d" patch in use in AoE games before and people hosting "1.0d" only games.

There may or may not have been a d patch for aoe but even if so it has been superceded by the e patch, so why would you want to regress even if you could find it?

I didn't know there was an e patch. I've been out of the game for over a year and really more then that on a consistent basis. Anyway, do you know where I could get it?

yo Katz... i remember u, old chool usual player... and i know all those players exo, itchy, btks, boozer... most still active as well as the koreans...

looks like most people in here dont know abot patch 1.0d (anti-cheat patch) to aoe... not many use it...
