Trade Workshop template - Medium Map

This is a Trade Workshop template, on a medium sized map. I edited it out from the "Opression" scn, in the Yamato campaign.

Features:
- 4 Trade Workshops
- Complete Gaiaset: 3 additional rocks, 2 water rocks, 5 grass patches (thanks to Andrea Rosa for these), a shallow water patch and Tree Oak 31, which looks the same as a normal Tree Oak unit.

You can download it here:

Five desert patches?

Gotta download that. Thanks.

5 Desert Patches? You mean Grass Patches.

Because they are on a different size map.

You can edit out the Oak tree and grasspatch yourself on a different map, they are randomly laid by grass terrain.

The oak 31 tree is pretty useless. The only use I can find is using it in the Fall of the newbs campaign as some kind of cameo (yet another one) or reference to the earlier betas.

I think LF is trying to say is that the oak doesn't look any differnt.

Oak 31 is pretty much the same as the simple oak, except that even though it would officially contain 75 wood, like the oak, it only contains 40.

I find this quite irritating, because this tree is also generated in random maps. You never know if that tree is an oak or an oak 31...

Ah, 40 wood, interesting. I never noticed it was in RM, it must be because I haven't played them in such a long time.

Is it possible that trade workshops cause errors? I played "When in Rome" and the houses I built looked liked Stone Age houses.

That has nothing to do with trade workshops AFAIK.

When you disable the bronze and/or iron age in the editor and make the player start in one of these ages, the houses have a stone age look. That can be pretty useful at times.

I'm still interested in what cool tricks you have found out by now.

Also, you can disable Writing by making the player begin in the Iron Age.
