Difficulty?

I once won vs. 7 other comps. hardest on rm, on huge map, highland, that took a lotta save and reload. But dm, I'd last like 20 seconds...

I've done a similar experiment.

You didn't specify the map, so, I can last forever if I set the map to small islands

Inland/Highland/Hill Country maps, any difficulty level (post it when you post your time, along with the civ you used), but keep in mid that it's really only fun on hard or above.

I just had a go and failed to win...

29:00, Yamato, Hills, Hard. I took out 4 CPs in the first 15 minutes but I couldn't win at all against the remaining three. Gave up at 29 minutes, what with priests, HCats, ballistas and all, I just couldn't stand it...

We should also see how fast we can rush a DM comp.

Start: Default
Map: Anything with almost all land
Starting Age: Stone/Default
Reveal map?: No
Difficulty: Hardest
Map Size: Tiny

1v1 I have won in about 7 mins. It would be 3 something if the comps actualy resigned when they knew they were done for.

EDIT:
1st round: ran outta space, restarted.
2nd: wrong sets, restarted.
3rd: Was holding my own, but the game crashed. (Odd... Normaly it won't.)

And as for the fastest victory? 6:31 on a tiny Highland map. Was a DM game of course (Hardest comp too.

As you can now see, some of you forgot to post parts of your games. Please updated-and keep trying to improve.

I notice none of the staff have taken us up on this yet.....I need an orange, a red, and a green set up there soon, or we'll all have to make an HG staff-mocking thread.

BTW, blitz is actually leading, cos he WON in 24 mins, so u should reely put, above the survival sector, the winners, and who can win fastest.

How is DX above everyone else? We all played on Hardest, no?

Actualy, mine was a win doing a 1v1, as I had stated above.

I tried doing a 1v7 but my comp just exited the game. (Crashed to desktop.)

Mmm? I thought I stated that I played at just Hard. I doubt I can take on CPs at Hardest. You forget I'm still new to the game. Shocking to see me up there as second.

Joe, I think you should put those playing at Hardest up there first, followed by those at Hard.

1) Win or lose
2) Difficulty level
3) Survival time

CP on hardest is the same as hard except for a bit of extra resources. On DM it probably wouldn't change much.

Wrong, the pers are also effected, changing attack size and time. Hardest would attack with maybe only a couple extra guys than hard, but multiplied by 7 and that makes 14 extra ballistas, priests, catapults etc. to deal with.

Yes, I definitely found playing at Hardest more difficult. This time I was utterly defeated, with not even a single unit left. They just overwhelmed me with their HCats. Also, I was only able to beat 2 CPs this time round.

*edit* Hey, can't be that I'm at second again... When did you all consider being defeated? When your last unit or building was destroyed, or when you felt you couldn't take it any longer?
