This modpack include an altered empires.dat and an modified language.dll of Age of Empires. For scenario designers, an editor's patch database with the zero-size and all terrain function turning on for the Dock and the new Labour Exchange is also included.

To the 11 people who downloaded this modpack before:
Please re-download the modpack and "install" it. This will create two stand alone exe programs linked to two renamed empires.dat. Therefore, it won't make any of the original game's files gone. |

This is truly one of the best add-ons to the game I have ever seen (yet). It features land trade through the work of merchants, mounted merchants and trade carts. A new building can be built, the trade workshop, and the add-on is playable in both singleplayer and multiplayer modes.
It is incredible how great it is to see land merchants roaming the place. Unbelievable. It adds so much to the game, without taking away the original feeling.
What is negative than? Well, land trade takes place between docks. This adds some limitations, but on a Coastal map, it is still great. There is an editor's patch also included, which will allow you to place trading centers in the editor, and use them for land trade.

Changing the trade system to allow trading not to take place between docks is impossible. |

ummmm....i didn't really like it because i couldn't find out what the dang carriers did. How do they work?
One suggestion i have for the creator is to modify it so that the player can trade anything for anything, nost just anything for gold. That would be a trade war i would enjoy fighting! |
