AIScan v0.9

Author File Description
BBalazs AIScan 0.9 (highly likely the final version) is a tool which works with Age of Empires (and Rise of Rome) *.ai files. It analyses the file, and generates a report on the progress of the computer player - detailed to every game second. You can use these reports to create statistics, compare and contrast AI files, and even determine their strengths and weaknesses.

The application is also capable of spotting some of the typical mistakes designers make in the AI file - not all, though.

You can choose from a variety of starting settings. You can adjust the starting age, the starting resources, and several other options that influence the output.

Reviews, comments, suggestions are welcome. Their very presence shows that people support this idea - which may result in new versions as well.

Good tool for basic AI work, gives you some data, but keep in mind it is not keeping many of the in game variables in play. Prepare to work the data a bit in Excel to get nice charts etc... overall a great first attempt at any interesting tool. Does have a clock thing with a progress bar, :D

Additional Comments: Check it out, see some interesting number crunching. It for more the advanced AI guy as an assistant, but that don't meant us newbies can't have fun with it too :P
