Extra Small Scenarios Pack
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Extra small sized maps which can be used for small puzzling/intro scenario's. Each scenario has an additional similar scenario with the "Lengthen Combat Mode/Triple Hitpoint Mode" activated in case you want to use this.
Note: The original 48x48 map size (without the Lengthen Combat Mode) has already been unlocked by CenturionZ_1 and MrCheeze, so it is not included with this pack.
Installing
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To use the scenario's in the Scenario Editor, simply copy them into your "scenario" folder in your Age of Empires directory.
Default location:
c:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires\scenario

Just updated it - the 1000_a_10x10_eh.scn seemed to crash/not load like it should, should be working properly now.

Hmmm, I could use the 10X10 ones. Nice work!

I can't find any 30*30 map by CenturionZ_1 in this Granary. Maybe you confused it with the 48*48 map (which seems to have been removed in favor for MrCheeze's stable version)?

When hexing, the 30x30 map size actually is 48x48 tiles, try it out yourself.

Wait, do you mean the dimensions you quoted above are in hexadecimal? If so, the maps are actually 16*16 and 32*32? Please clarify?

They are hexidecimal indeed, prolly should change the instructions with the appropriate tiles.
It seems from 10x10 onwards AoE uses a different algorithm, and adds more 160100 (tile data) bytes when launching the scenario/template, for some weird unknown reason - which always results in 16x16 tiles (10x10 map size), 32x32 tiles (20x20 map size) and 48x48 (30x30 map size).

You mean it automatically fills in the terrain when you change the map size?
Also I think the reason it became 16 when you type in 10 is because hex numbers use letters A - F to represent 10 - 15. Example:
Dec = Hex
10 = A
16 = 10
20 = 14
30 = 1E
32 = 20
48 = 30

So, the 10x10 is actually 16x16, the 20x20 is actually 32x32, and the 30x30 is actually 48x48 (aka Microscopic size)
