Budonia is a mythical land of witches, invisible demons and saints who walk on water. It is up to you whether you survive or disappear in the mists of Budonia forever. You'll have to be tactical and solve some riddles to master this campaign. You will have quite a few enemies to cope with. Among the worst are wicked King Murgul, the fiendish Jasonites and the immortal Sorcerer. Whatever you do, don't provoke the old wizard! No sword or arrow can kill him, and his vengeance will be horrible... You are not alone in this hostile world though. Your Ancestors are watching over you, and they might come to your rescue when everything seems hopeless. Treat them with respect - you won't even survive the first scenario without them.

I first published Budonian Tales for Rise of Rome in 1999. This is a "remastered" version for Age of Empires: Definitive Edition with a few new map design features, such as trees growing into water, rocky waterfalls, a new type of hedges etc.

Copy the campaign file into your Age of Empires DE\Game Content\Campaigns folder, you can then play it from the Custom Campaigns menue.
