If you registered for a newsletter at aoe3 site you will have received an email with lots of information, and this:

I know its wishful thinking on my part, but was kinda hoping for another civ. I'm so sick of playing the spanish and brits i'd probably not touch them till the xpac comes out.

They should at least put in another random map, if nothing else...how hard could it be?

So the nerds who've been playing the crappy demo for hundreds of hours will download this updated demo and see it in a new light...because it's UPDATED! w00t!

Even though it really doesn't include anything new regarding the actual gameplay...

Not for the demo, because the game will come out a week later for the US and 2 weeks after the US for Europe.

Agreed, mainly because I am one of those nerds that spends eveery waking moment playing it...but am actually very very bord of it right now. But cant wait for some 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, other civs, more maps, and MERCENARIES!!!!!!! W00TT!!!!

I'd rather not have to wait overnight only to have the connection reset again.

Use a download accelerator like DAP (Download Accelerator Plus. If you have good connection it speeds it up a lot and regardless of connection it gives you the resume download option so if connection gets messed up you can continue from where you were.

Even if they dont release a torrent, you can get the current demo from p2p programs...well, limewire has it at least.

But they could always just release a patch for us whove already got it.
