Very solid replay. Classic use of uhlans to harrass and cripple his economy. I hope to see some more involved replays in the future, hopefully on maps that aren't quite as predictable as Orinoco.
I especially like how you FRAPS'd the game while doing the commentary. It makes it more interesting in terms of making the comments be more naturally pertaining to your thought processes at the time.
So if I followed the replay right, your shipment sequence is:
2 wagons
9 crossbows/2 uhlan
3 wagons/2 uhlan
15% cavalry hps/2 uhlan
Is this accurate, or did I miss one?
Finally, I'm curious if you think the market upgrades you got (hunting dogs and gang saw) paid for themselves by the time the game ended. I never got a look at your final villager population, but given the brevity of the game, I'm doubtful you broke even. Of course, you can't predict how long a game will go, so I'm not exactly critical of your choice to plant a market early, but at the stage of the game you upgraded, you're looking at 5 minutes or more to see the payoff from market techs.

Very interesting and helpful. I watched the WC ones as well; loved it.
Great job, hope to see more, especially AoE ones!

Meh. I find Warcraft III to be terribly dull, and sadly the commented replays are no exception. While the heavy emphasis on creeping keeps you busy during the early game, that feature is offset by the town portal scroll, which turns every early skirmish into an indecisive clash of little import.
With easily accessible teleportation negating the efficacy of maneuver and a braindead economic model gutting the complexity of logistics, there's just not much strategy left in the game, and all that remains is a frantic micro fest, and to be honest, there are far more entertaining twitch games out there.

Not saying I like WC3 a lot, but I love watching movies while hearing commentary. It's so nice to hear people talk about tactics and explaining what they do. Since I recently started playing AoE, I would love to see some more strategies for them.

You know what I find amazing? The way it responded to his commands as soon as he clicked it. It was like he was playing against the computer.

Exactly what I'm sure many of us have needed all along. You can watch a silent replay, but you don't know why they do what they do. With immediate narration, it's great, especially if they make mistakes and have to recover.
Bravo! Looking forward to a lot more!

Hmm, for me, it got me back into the game, showing how to be controlled agressive, and giving an insight in how pro's think and deduce. Thumbs up!
