Just thought I'd show you this!

The menus on the two games are exactly thr same except for the background. I just thought I'd show you, nothing special!

Yes I noticed this too, someone told me (I really forgot who) that it's probably because the button images are saved on the harddisk as temporary files but never got removed. The buttons from RoL use the same name so it gets messed up when you installed AoE3 first.

No idea if this is true and based on true facts, though.

Game comes from the two same publishers, so I think maybe, very unproffessionally, they forgot to use different filenames for each installer

I think that microsoft made both the menu and the installer and where not given the buttons for RoL so they just edited the AoEIII one with the buttons linking to different apps and sites etc...

Shocking? Nah. Microsoft has a team that works on what's called the installer for their games. It shouldn't shock anyone that two games published by Microsoft, or any other publisher, may share UI or other elements in an installation system.
