The germans have one of the strongest FF's in the game, they havedeadly tier 3 merc shipmens, a good economy, and free raiding party with every shipment (uhlans).
Cards needed: (in order of most likely appearance)
1. 2 settlers

4. jaegers or BR's

1000 wood (instead of covered wagon)

tier 4 mercs

Improved Mercinaries
- I often see merc decks without factory cards or tier 4
non-merc shipments, i myself like to build well-rounded decks, so every eventuality has been considered and can be handled.
1. all vils on food, wagon on crates --> 2. all on food 3. train vils to food till you have 12 4. send 2 wagons, put them on wood 5. you now have 18 pop in settlers 6. advance, take 4 vils from food and put them on wood 7. once you hit 250 wood, build a tp 2. build a house 4. 5 vils and 2 wagons on gold, 7-9 on food, and a wagon collecting crates. 5. advance. while advancing, have all wagons on gold + 5 vils, build a house, have 5 on food and the rest on wood, this means you can have a constant supply of villigars and houses (mercs and uhlans eat pop) 1. Send 7or9 (whichever you have) skirms if you are being attacked and have your vils garrisoned meaniing they cant mine gold. with a little micro, 7 skirms, 4 dopples and a garisoned tc repel allmost all colonial rushes. send mercs if you are able to secure a silver mine. The rest is up to you, i recomend 14 jaegers first, then 10 Black riders, jaegers beat any infantry, and most col army are infantry based. they may start to build hussars whent hey see you have jaegs, but BR's will be in time to pwn them -------------------------------------------------------- i know this could do with some work. im not a pro, im an inter, and i could be making bad choices in some areas, feel free to point them out. sorry lemuri, it is my only good recorded game with me using this strat. when ever i actually remeber to click record, i either dont merc rush, or get a lesser skilled player. - notice the 2 towers and 8 sbow cards, if the enmy rushes, i can hold out long enought to go fortress.
- 2 factorys, 1 fort. you never know if the game is going to go industrial, 2 factorys are pretty vital in tier 4.
this is not designed to be played on maps like caribean or amazon.
- you may want to send ATP and spam trading posts, but this will affect your fortress times becuase you will not have a shipment ready for 700 gold when in colonial
1. cue 2 villigars to gold, send 700 gold
once you hit 300 gold without the use of crates, put all your wagons to gathering the crates.
you will probably be able to get some mercs out by about 8:30 - 9:30
