WW micro, separate them into various groups, hit and run vs heavy infantry with superior range, or even vs dragoons, etc. Treasure steal, you can see stuff that you have explored but in fog of war, keep your eyes on the good treasures, if you see them move and health change, that means your opponenet's explorer is there, go steal his treasure like a true man. Explorer killing gives 45 xp, melee attack, get advanced formation options in options, so his explorer speed will slow down once he's under melee attack.
