After thinking about where Home Cities could be used in AoE4...I came up with Age of Space, where Nations colonize Mars, Venus, Mercury, Pluto and the Moons. (Each one as a map). This game would obviously take place in the future

OUTLINE
- Choose one of six futuristic Alliances
- Leave Earth behind and colonize the stars
- Play on other solid planets and moons in the solar system
- New modes of play
-Supremacy: Completely eliminate the opponent's units and buildings on the planet.
-Deathmatch: Start in the fifth age with almost infinite resources for a battle royale
-Conquer: Control over 75% of the planet to win
-Sabotage: Destroy the opponents water supplies to win
- Lead your Alliance Home Base to victory, even if it means destroying others from your Alliance who want the glory for themselves.
- Use hundreds of futuristic units and buildings
AGES:
1) Information Age
-No warfare in this age. The world (Earth) is on the verge of economic collapse due to overpopulation. In this age, players control their home cities on Earth, gaining resources and building troops as quickly as possible. Soon, the Earth will not be able to support any population and it will then be time for the players to advance to the next age and take to the stars...2) Chaos Age
- The age of exploration begins after any empire decides to take off. All players must leave the Earth to a particular solid planet/moon. Here, either Nomad or Auto-TC can be used to start with. This age is similar to the first age in other Age games. Players may also send raw alien materials back to earth and receive benefits from the player's earthly base of operations much like the Home City in AOEIII.3) Mobilization Age
- Continue to subdue the new planet. The point in this age to keep what is newly yours from encroachment from enemy players and to attempt to build up your forces and ecomony in the meantime. Players gain many military bonuses in this age. 4) Prosperity Age
- In this age, the space-colonisers have well adjusted to the new planet, and have evolved to the point where they do not need clumsy protection to survive on the planet. This largely speeds up all activity and gives the players access to newer planet-based buildings. 5) Conquest Age
- Like the "Titan Age" of AoM:TT and the Imperial Age of AoE3, this age is very hard to reach and extremely powerful. Players who reach this age can now attempt to attack the enemy Home Nations on EARTH itself, utilizing unique "super weapon" ships or technologies. Conquering Earth itself can be a "game winner" in some gametypes (Supremacy, maybe), but not in others (Death Match).CIVILISATIONS:
There are five alliances to choose from. One of three base nations can be played as from each alliance. The Home Base Design for each alliance is what the Home Base would look like until the player customises it.
United North America
-Home Base Design: National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
The United States of America has dwindled in power since the 21st century. They have however, merged with nearby Countries, such as Canada and Greenland. Mexico refused to join this alliance and instead, declared themselves part of South America. UNA still has the technological edge over most other alliances and are one of the most experienced in space travel.
European Union
- Russia
- United Kingdom
- Italy
-Home Base Design: European Space Agency (ESRO)
The European Union is the oldest of today's alliances. The united Euro currency was the original trademark of this alliance, when others saw it's success and constructed their own united currencies. This in turn built the foundation for a global currency, which was implemented from 2304AD. The alliance still has major economic favor over the other alliances.
Commonwealth
-Home Base Design: Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)
Since the seperation of the United Kingdom and the merging of the U.S.A. and Canada, the Commonwealth countries have used their almost infinite amount of resources to technologically advance their alliance, which is now the largest in the world.
Asia Pacific Union
-Home Base Design: Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)
The Asia Pacific Union is the sole most technologically advanced alliance, followed closely by North America. The use of AI is more developed than all other alliances. The APU have been largely profiting by selling off their inventions to other alliances.
South American Mafia
-Home Base Design: Brazilian Space Agency (BSA)
The youngest of all the alliances, this alliance was built upon corruption, caused by the isolation from other alliances. It replaced the South American Community of Nations. The Space Agencies however, have been showered with money and has outgrown most other Space Bases. South American Rebel(SAR) groups had joined to defeat the Mafia, but the SAR groups are now at an uneasy peace with them. Revolution is imminent.
Arabian League
- United Arab Emirates
- Bahrain
- Oman
-Home Base Design:
After the solution of the conflicts in the Middle-East, the Iranian Revolutions of the 2030s and the quick industrialisation of most countries in the area, wealth in Islamic countries soared due to the oil trade. When oil was largely been supplanted by fusion energy, the Arabian League alliance strengthened bonds with one another and focused on using the remainder of their oil to power the Arabian SolarPlex and gather enough solar energy to last them for centuries to come. However, this alliance still suffers from a shortage of resources, mainly Water. MAPS:
Each Map has its own bonuses. Planets with more G-Force would take longer to build on, but would have stronger buildings etc.

RESOURCES:
- Food
-Available through plantations or shipments. More methods after Prosperity Age.
- Wealth
-By establishing trade routes or by finding raw alien materials on map and sending them to HB(by moving them to the Capital Ship). More methods after Prosperity Age.
- Metal
-By using "diggers" (AI controlled drill tank). More methods after Prosperity Age.
- Water
-Shipped from HB regularly to Water Docks. Slowly decreases. More methods after Prosperity Age.
MAIN BUILDINGS
- Capital Ship
-Replacing the town centre from previous Age games, this building acts as a dropoff for shipments and a centre for a main base. There are no "AoM Settlements" where this building must be built. The Coloniser ship can be built here. These ships can start off packed (Nomad), or start off unpacked.
- Colony
-This is the basic building that increases the population limit (Houses). They are built using the construction ships.
ECONOMIC UNITS
- Settler Ship
-This ship is the basic worker, however, it must be converted to one of the next few ships in order to work. There is a seperate cost when changingfrom one kind of economic ship to another.
- Construction Ship
-These ships build military and economic buildings for you in your territory.
- Digger
-These AI-controlled machines dig through sites on the planet to find metal for you.
- Plantation Ship
-These ships can be unpacked into plantations that automatically gather food for you
- Explorer Ship
-This ship can find rare alien resources around the map and send them back to your HB. It has a large LOS, is relatively fast and is good for scouting.
MILITARY UNIT TYPES/TRIANGLE
- Tanks
-Tanks specialise against Aircraft. They are the most powerful of the triangle, but they are the slowest. Because of this, light Mecha-Infantry can take down tanks with little difficulty.
- Aircraft
-Aircraft can cross any kind of terrain and generally have the highest HP of the triangle. They are usually large and slow and can easily be taken down with tanks. Light Mecha-Infantry can't do much damage to their high HP. Aircraft normally have two types of attack. A light ranged attack with good aim and a bomb that can be used once with each aircraft. Bombs are powerful against buildings, but weak against other units.
- Mecha-Infantry
-Mecha-Infantry are giant robots controlled by soldiers inside. They are normally fast and can shoot down tanks without getting hit too hard. They can only rarely break through to take down Aircraft.
