History: The Inuit are a broad term, but mainly refer to the Amerindians that live in Alaska, Canada being home to tribes such as the Cree, Greenland being home to the Skraelings, and other tribes being in different places. Europeans generally left the Inuit alone in colonization, and were only Christianized by the Russians. The Inuit were a hardy and exotic group, being confined to the most extreme conditions in winter and a glimpse of hope in the summer. The Eskimo term is considered derogatory and is really only used to talk about the Yupik of Russia.

Introduction to Inuit mythology: Many people think that Inuit can’t be classified as even having beliefs, let alone a mythology. The Inuit were in fear of spirits and gods wreaking havoc on them for breaking tribal customs or ways, or insulting the gods and spirits. One Inuit has said that, “We Inuit do not believe, we fear.” In a world with constant unpredictable weather, fierce animals, and an almost impossible way of life, the Inuit had right to fear, also believing that every living thing has a soul the Inuit saying, “The great peril of our existence is that our diet is made entirely out of souls,” shows their reverence for nature.

The Inuit gain favor by their priest, the angakuq, healing units. The angakuit were the medicine men and shaman of the Inuit. They invoked spirits to help people or hurt their enemies and often exorcised the evil ones. The angakuit were not trained, they were born with the qualities that made them the angakuit.

The Inuit have a different way of farming than any others. First they must build a pool of water and then they must build a seaweed farm over that. The Inuit’s main plant food was the seaweed, which they cultivated like the Aztecs cultivated maize.

Military Units- the Inuit have no basic archer or any archer at all. Instead the Inuit infantry can switch between being an archer and infantry in the military commands section.

Polar Lodge- trains cavalry and infantry

Kavikak- spearmen good against cavalry that use a barbed spear that does a special gradual damage bleeding attack. The Kavikak archer is good against infantry.

Well, another great civilization from you, Yamato. But I think you should power down Pingas GP and Amguqs Amarok, I think they seem a bit too strong for Heroic Age gods.
And maybe set a time limit on Nanooks GP.

Otherwise, great.
