What is your favorite constellation? and what is your favorite star?

Mine is the W shaped one that is sort of opposite the Big Dipper in relation to Polaris. I don't know why, but it's always pr. easy for me to find, and it is more reliable than the two 'pointer stars' if I am looking for polaris the north star.

When I was a kid I always used to like finding orion but that was just because it was the only one I knew! LOL!

I think I don't have a favorite star. It is probably because I don't know any because I'm not an astronomer, but maybe one day I will have a favorite.

I'm star ting to notice some universal truths of an earth shattering nature.

Black hole.

Where be your gibes now? your gambols? your songs?

Not one now, to mock your own grinning?

Since it's the international year of Astronomy, this is also valid in this thread:

http://www.galaxyzoo.org/

At this site you basically play a "game" where you classify galaxy types. Starting today, they are trying to classify 1 million galaxies in 100 hours.

So you know, get to it.
