If it disappoints you you fail at liking good books.
Where be your gibes now? your gambols? your songs? Your flashes of merriment, that were wont to set the table on a roar? Not one now, to mock your own grinning?

I haven't read it, but talking with a friend the fact that it has

The movie was baaaaaaaddddd. I should read the book some day but it'd be ruined by the fact that I know the plot already.
Good grief!

The book is way better than the movie. But it still doesn't make a lot of sense from a physics perspective.
But from a storytelling perspective it's pretty solid gold.

Jacob Coote almost gets some action but then she breaks it off which is for the best because he ends up having a personality crisis in the end and leaves her. John Barton or whatever his name was turns out to be an emo and offs himself with some pills just days after talking to Josephine as if everything was perfect.
Oops did I mention spoilers?
Good grief!

That is so cool! do we live underwater in giant airbubbles or do we actually breathe the water. because i think it would be cool to be able to breathe water again like a fish.
