I'm really not sure what to make of this. It turns out The Great Inca Rebellion, a National Geographic documentary about the conquest of the Incan empire, used Age of Empires III for some of its footage. You can search for footage of it on youtube; some was found here (2:44) and here (7:09). More pic links below the image.

Thanks to Tilanus Commodor, who saw this on tv the other night, for the tip and the images. And the playlist compilation.

LOL Nice work in the Editor, History Channel. I especially like the way they got the long shadows in the third feature pic.

It looks very much like some of the better work of our resident eye-candy specialists at AOE3H. Hopefully they will properly credit that person for going to so much work.

lol - I knew Age of Empires was accurate, but not THAT accurate.
