This Mod patches the formations in the game and adds the patrol and guard commans.


Improvements:

- Cavalry charges now in wedge formation instead of an inverted wedge formation.

- In defense mode, unit form a filled box.

- Ranged units stand ground in every mode (except melee stance).

- Every military unit (also ships) can now guard an area and can patrol.

WARNING: This Mod causes OOS Errors in Multiplayer. Please save the original proto.xml (rename it for example)


Install: Copy the battle.xml.xmb and proto.xml into your \data folder:
(X:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires III\data)

Game Version: 1.01a (New Version is upcomeing).

Hey i'm gonna try this one out! Looks great! As I don't use to play online this should work perfectly. Will this work over LAN though? My rotate-building mod didn't cause OOS @ LAN, but it did @ ESO. Is this like that 2?

It should work in LAN if the other person has the mod, too.

If everyone in the ESO game has the mod will it work? Or it is a difficulty w/ ESO?

Huzzah! I no longer feel the urge to scream at my monitor every time I try to do something besides babysit a disturbingly suicidal defensive battle line. Like, you can actually set up choke points and leave them unattended. Effortless slaughter is so pimpalicious! 8^D

Every time I try to put the files In the that data folder it tells me that it cannot be done.

does this only work in vannila?

in TWC it says that it can't compile "ailoaderstandard.xs"

i cant use the guard and patrol command :(

and my units cant get stealth
