I took the effort to make v17 from scratch, so this is an updated version of that. Since this version is based off of one that was made from scratch it got rid of a lot of issues including:
invisible or "ghost" pop
sioux now get pop like everyone else
units spawning behind buildings
Also, I took time to do a lot civ balancing. Since everything was from scratch, I had to redo all the boosting/nerfing again. But this time, I decided to go a couple steps further and make things even more balanced. Here's the list of changes:
War Hut units train slightly faster
Macehualtin get 10% more armor
China gets 5 flamethrowers
Dutch gets slightly faster halbediers
Sepoy lose 30 hp
Mahout and Howdah lose 1 speed and 200 health
Mahout build limit is 5
Howdah build limit is 10
Gurkha lose 25% of their armor
Ashigaru and Samurai lose 30 hp
Yumi lose 25% of their armor
Samurai lose 0.5 of their speed
Abus build limit is now permanently 10
Strelet gain 20% more armor
Russian musketeers get 0.5 more speed
Russians now have pikeman
Sioux can now train 20 Tashunke Prowlers
That is bulk of what I did besides some simple eyecandy I decided to throw in for some aesthetics. I did however decided to code a new kill counter that displays the players' usernames instead of Player 1, Player 2, ect. All of the kill rewards (aging up and getting more pop) also say your username. This looks good and also makes it easier to read, rather than trying to remember what player you are. There are still a few bugs however. A homecity says that Player 5 can't be French. Please disregard that. Other than that, it is bug free. Please feel free to rate and comment.
