History
After the Great Flood only three of your villagers survived. Lead your nation to new glory and fight for the World Domination.

Hints
This is a "Settlermap"
- You start with a Transport Ship and three villagers on it.
- Search for a place to settle down and build your imperium.
- One relique can be found on each of the seven continents.
- Do not settle in the Antarctic region.
- Australia is connected to New Guinea, Borneo and the Philippines with shallow water.
- The Suez Canal and the Panama Canal are open.

There is an error if you want to start a map like this which is made for eight players with less then eight. Therefore, there is the map for every number of players. They only differ in that Number.

'World Map' by Leontios is a multiplayer scenario depicting a design of the world, and is best played with 4-8 players.

PLAYABILITY: There are many world map variations out there but this is definitely among the best of them. It is a settler type map in which each player begins with 4 villagers in a transport ship just above the barren continent of Antartica and can choose any part of the world to settle. However, as you are up against other players, time is of the essence to build your town centre quickly. Probably the only negative to this style is the time it can take for some players to reach their chosen destination. That being said, the map does what it's meant to; a solid entry for online gamers without being anything particularly special. 3.0+

BALANCE: This category rates the starting positions of all players, their relative strengths and weaknesses to one another, and whether everyone has an equal chance of survival. As all players begin in transport boats with the opportunity to settle anywhere in the world, I can only conclude that the game is well balanced and fair for everyone. 5.0

CREATIVITY: The scenario is fairly standard and is only meant to provide online gamers with a random map style game which encompasses the whole world. The world map itself is quite well done, filled with resources of all types, including a relic in every continent to benefit whoever settles there. I also commend the author for designing the continents with the correct terrain, such as bamboo in Asia, jungle in South-East Asia and South America, and deserts in their respective zones such as the Sahara and central Australia. 2.0+

MAP DESIGN: The design and depiction of the world is not perfect by any means, but it's very good for what is essentially designed for an online audience used to random map quality. There is everything here the player needs in a competitive experience, including a mostly equal distribution of resources across the major continents, and many natural barriers in the crux of rivers and mountains that offer defensive positions. My only critique is the relative lack of fish in the ocean, given it's also a map meant to support up to eight players. 2.0+

STORY/INSTRUCTIONS: It seems almost unfair to rate this category given the context of multiplayer scenarios, particularly this one - but then there's nothing really here that needs to be said. There are some basic hints to set the player up, but it's essentially a random map in which you need only load and play. There's nothing wrong with that. 2.0

OBSERVATIONS: It is recommended to play this map with options set to 'explored map'.

In a sentence - If you are looking for a world map for multiplayer experience, then this is for you.

In closing - I recommend this download.
