The utility shows a timed removal or placement of bridge parts, to give the impression of a draw bridge.

USEFULNESS/NOVELTY: The utility does for what it is intended to be, you witness a good draw bridge effect and this can be quite useful for scenario design. Draw bridges were very common in the medieval times and part of a castles/fortresses/towns defence structure together with a moat. There are some doubts to what degree it is effective, practical in a scenario. The trick is to remove bridge parts, to draw in the bridge and to create them, to let the bridge down. The effect should be that the enemy can not cross the moat, but the game is coded to allow players to walk wherever a building has been destroyed and the water becomes walkable where bridge pieces were removed. The utility proposes to place a gate at each side of the draw bridge which closes or opens according to the bridge position and to damage the unit’s hp that were on the bridge or about to cross during its operation. Apart from the unrealistic gate in front of the moat, the draw bridge trick is very creative, its novelty factor undoubted being the first of its kind. 4.5

QUALITY/INSTRUCTIONS: A good quality draw bridge, but the overall impression is a bit unrealistic with a gate at the moat, easy to destroy with the defence forces on the other side, so the utilities significance lies mainly in the eye candy design sphere. The Instructions are well done; the trick explained in game, the name reflects the utility’s use while information on the author’s description page is non existent: “In this update, ive included the instructions. That is all...” 4.25

OVERALL: A first good draw bridge.

SUGGESTIONS: I am afraid I have none; an idea would be to make the water unwalkable once the bridge pieces are removed.

IN CLOSING: A great trick with a challenge to develop it further.
