With this scen I will show you how to create a random generator using garrisons and the Unload effect. The scen has a casino game as a example of my method, following with a short tutorial

This utility is a great tool and example of a way to make things random. It's more accurate than all other randomization-systems and easy to use when you get a hang on it. Its simple and doesn't take much space on the map, 3x3 unit squares!
The example to use it for casino games is funny and always different, showing the best side of this random generator.

Only one side note. For newbies and not so skilled users of AoKTS (like me :P) its a little hard to get a hang of it in the beginning. For new designers, old random generators like patroling a unit and see where it stands at the moment, will be much easier for them

So because its more complex than other random generators, it doesn't get a 5.0. Instead a 4.5

I checked it out; is there anyway to re-garrison the pallisades? If not, then it's really going to start taking up a lot of map space if you want more than a handful of random effects... unless of course, you garrison lots of the palisade walls into your unit, and remove them as the numbers generated.

Personally, the ai "random-number" command is the best solution for me.

"It's more accurate than all other randomization-systems": well that's a big call! You're also limited to only four random options.

KingElk Good work, a little confusing for me. It is good for the casino design, horse racing, and other little mini events.

(I think this can be achieved more simply by triggering a landing point to set off the desired "random" effect. EX. Place a unit in tower and trigger everypoint around it to give a different message. You could have this set up in a corner where the HoU is or something and then make a trigger set if you select something like casino it will ungarrison and the events will playout. Woops not sure if tthis is what you had in mind, but my theory doesnt involve palasides or anything. Hope this helps ^
EDIT: Comment above I think this will work if you have the unit tasked back in the tower after each random selection. Although I'm working on my campaign I may take a break to try to show what I mean by a more simple and efective generator.

WizardBoy I hope we soon find an easy way to make a random generator just by using trigger to make even starters to triggers learn the best way to make random events occur =)

Therefore i encourage anyone who likes to participate in doing their best to make the one that is most easiest to understand.

Now i see this generator, its not very friendly to starters which gives it a very poor score. I mean if you have a utility make it so all even starters can easy follow how to use it. Otherwise only experts can have it and that has an degree on starters.

Just my opinion ^^
