The blatant disregard for Dead Cthulhu for these other, weak gods has angered the Great Old Ones. They now wake and prepare to consume the world, because humans taste like pork. Allow the voiceless voices you hear to guide you in your descent into insanity, and perhaps Cthulhu will take mercy on you and devour you before madness fully consumes your mind.
The madness will only get worse as time goes on.
