So? Basically we each come up with different armies. Then you'll take our stats and our armies will have to defeat other entrants armies. Just wondering how this works.

It seems like the winning combination would be 1 Genghis Khan, 1 William Wallace, 5 Elite War Elephants, and 15 monks.

Joshua4missions : I'll randomly choose from the 8 participants , four 1 vs 1 matchs , then the two 1 vs 1 matchs , and the two winners will fight eachother . The last winner is winning the shole competition . If you don't believe a participant beat you , then send me your email and I'll give you the recorded game with the battle .

I posted my army before seeing that the unique technology would be researched with triggers. This probably will not change anything, but just in case, is it okay for me to change my army before the competition actually starts? Is there a deadline for tweaking the army?

Front Line-10 War Elephants with empty square in center.
Second Line-Skip
Third Line-12 M@A's in center with two spearmen on each flank.
Fourth Line-Skip
Fifth Line-5 Onagers(spaced one tile apart), with 2 archers on one flank, one on the other with Gengis Khan.
Sixth Line-Two Magonels and two scorpions spaced one tile apart.
Seventh Line-Jean de Lorarine

Josh , thanks for observating , and check your email . Also , you have 11 longswords + 5 pikes , there are 16 Castle Age units . Possidon , delete two of your soldiers .

Fixed. Fanica I think you should make a rule stating that we should use two different heroes. It would make it better.

Okay Fanica, I just updated my army. If you could change it in the main post then that would be good. My previous army wasn't as good as I thought. This new army soundly defeated Possidons army.

Joshua, please note that the Persians do not get Champion. Mixing war elephants and champions is against the rules, I believe.

Second line:
3 spearmen, William Wallice, 5 WE, 4 spearmen.
Third line:
Archer, 12 spaces.
Fourth line:
Archer, 12 spaces
Fifth line:
Archer, spaces, mangonel, space, mangonel, space, mangonel space, mangonel, space, mangonel, space, Genghis Kahn
Sixth line:
space, mangonel, spaces, mangonel, spaces, mangonel, spaces, mangonel, spaces, mangonel, 2 spaces.

To sum up;
Castle age units (15):
Five War Elephants (mounted)
Ten mangonel

Imperial (5):
Five Elite War Elephant (mounted)

Heroes (2):
Genghis Kahn
William Wallice

Other (18):
Three archers
Fifteen spearmen

Edit: I use persians, if you didn't notice.
Edit 2: Change all Knights to War Elefants. Later when I have time I will fix it in the text. Most likely I will move the elefants around a bit too.

Does Genghis Khan count as a mounted unit? If so, 5 EWEs and 5 WEs would mean no Genghis Khan.

And I do agree that it is funny to say "I can't do X because my house is surrounded by a volcanic ash cloud."

I hope this dissipates soon, though. It is annoying when one volcano pumps more CO2 into the atmosphere than all automobiles combined since the industrial revolution. What's the point of going green when nature itself pollutes more than mankind ever has?
