1-Map tips Look at Ingo van Thiel's "The Quest" and "The King's Best Men". There are a lot of bodies of water, rather small, but it's noticeable. Use water in your scenarios, and spiff them up, that's probably an easy thing to do. Secondly, put GAIA flowers underneath trees! This is the simplest thing to do and it looks really nice... as long as you don't put too many flowers in... ES winners info. Take a gander at these. You'll notice Gordon Farrell used NO elevation in his scenario! Canute's saga. It was the winner. I think it won because it was unique. Unique = 5.0 at AoKH RUINED HARBOUR Place some water. Place GAIA/buildings/ruins on the edge of it. Add a shipwreck or two, some shallows and flowers, plants, rocks/sea rocks. add a "crane" (lumber camp with shipwreck) or maybe a naval workshop (AoK Punk map design article).
