Im not sure how many people know this, or want to know this, but you can make beaches in a few simple steps.

1. Place your waterline (can be a sea, river ocean, whatever)

2. Select the desert terrain, and set the area to your liking (tiny works best when adding right by the water)

3. Throw in a few palm trees for a tropical feel

4. (Optional)Add a few rugs and villagers

5. (Optional)Add some outpostd for Lifeguard Towers

6. (Last step, and also optional) Put in the Middle Bridge , A or B works, then set up a trigger to remove the bridges, and task a few villagers to where they, to make it look like some of them are swimming

I hope that this was new to some people, and if it wasn't, it refreashed your memory.

I'm making an archipeligo scenario in my campaign (see sig) and will use lots of beaches. I hadn't thought of the lifeguard tower though, or thought of the bridge thing.

Did they have lifeguard towers in the middle ages though?

In original Aok, you could make "waves" using ice.

Demon_709, you can make screen shots by pushing the Print Screen button on your keyboard.
Or, did you mean where you can post them?
If that's what you mean, try posting your screenshots at Homestead.com (hope that's what it's called (it was mentioned at a certain post on gen. disscusion)).
Oh, and please review my scenarios, Island Fortress 1 and Cliffs of no Return (EyE-cAnDy).

Like someone said, lifeguard is a good idea

"Especially awe-inspiring is the fact that any single brain is made up of atoms that were forged in the hearts of countless stars billions of years ago... These atoms now form a conglomerate – your brain – that can not only ponder the very stars that gave it birth but can also think about its own ability to think and wonder about its own ability to wonder. With the arrival of humans…the universe has suddenly become conscious of itself. This, truly, is the greatest mystery of all." - Rama

I don't think people swam in the oceans very much in the middle ages. At least, I've never heard of it. But then again, who cares? We can do whatever we want! History can't stop us! In fact, no one can!!! AHAHAHAhahaha!! We're invincible!
