48ish hours for night actions

C'mon guys, get in those night actions!

It was a hot night for Santa Damia, and Zak was having trouble sleeping. He lay in his bed, tossing and turning until he finally decided a drink of water and a midnight stroll would do his mind and body good. As he put on his boots he thought he heard the faint sound of someone walking outside. Donning his Sheriff's hat and shiny new Sheriff's badge, he stepped outside to the beautiful light of the full moon. He decided he would walk to the well, get his drink and try to count the stars until his head was full.

As he walked to the well, he heard the sound again, except this time accompanied by the smallest of laughs. Zak stopped and prepared to whip out his pistols and confront whoever was behind him, but before he could even get his hand to his side, he felt a pressure and saw the tip of a knife sticking out of his chest. A groan was all that escaped from his lips before the death blow to the head. Zak slumped down to the ground, his hot blood trickling down his new badge.

The killer cleaned his knife on the back of Zak's vest. "Another kill for Rodrigo! God, please accept his soul into heav-" but the killer never got the words out. Three shots, and he was down.

Zak the cop was killed by Trebuchet, who was Rodrigo the serial killer who was also killed.

It now Day 1. No time limit for lynching, however I will give you a deadline if discussion dies down.

Ideal start for the Mafia. Town can't afford mistakes now.

OK, that's a bad start. But on the plus side there is no SK now, and so only 1 night kill can be made every night. Less if a doc does his job well. I'm guessing we have 2 mafia, as any more would mean there is an equal mafia/town split and we'd already have lost.

Best thing we can do is get discussion going. Styrophome, mind telling us about your edit?

Well, I'm not so sure that's a good idea. If we role-claim we might produce a viglante and/or a doc. The mafia will have this game won before the next day.

One question, it strikes me as a little odd that in a game which has allegedly simple rules we have a role called town drunk. But looking at the theme and the topic post it's hardly impossible.

Well, looks like the cop and a serial killer are dead. Town basically took a 1:1 hit here, which is in its favor (if only slightly). Anybody got any leads?

If sonicshadow doesn't confirm I might need a replacement.

Send him an email first, replacements will probably be hard to find.

I have a theory about SonicShadow, I don't think he's a vanilla townie. In post 11, Blunt Axe asked for people to get a move on with night actions, meaning at least one person was slow. Seeing as SonicShadow was the only one not to confirm it would be logical to suspect he was one. If SonicShadow was just lying low in this thread he would almost certainly have confirmed (no mafia would draw attention to themselves like that) and taken advantage of his night action (if any). But seeing as Blunt Axe is considering a replacement it looks like hasn't done anything yet. I could be wrong about this, but it's a reasonable possibility. Any thoughts?

I have a couple more ideas but they are even more flimsy, so I'll wait a little and hope something happens to confirm/disprove them.
