Let the hype builds! With Bassi working on something Mongol-related as well and the Mongolian architecture mod coming out, this year will be fantastic for all of us steppe raiders

Yeah, good times ahead for everyone who likes nomad themed stuff. But I can not promise that my new custom campaign will be released soon. It's possible that this will have to wait until next year (but it's coming for sure -- that's what I can promise).

One thing that I find curious is that I don't believe there have been many high quality custom campaigns about Genghis Khan (excluding his brief appearance in Bassi's Kings of Destruction), despite his significance. There's several for AoE/RoR from the Mongol Campaign contest that was done there many years ago, but Genghis Khan-themed scenarios in AoK are surprisingly sparse. It's a nice void to fill up a little bit, but still unexpected.
