nothing in ESO changed, so if that is happening to you it is most likely something you've done on your computer. A couple possibilites:
1) is the date set properly on your computer?
2) have you installed any mods (tool tips, microslave, etc.)
3) you recently added a router or changed your router (either updated or changed the software)

how come i could play b4 the patch but now i cant do u thinks it's my firewall?

#2 is the most likly culprit though. are you using any sort of mod?

Same thing here. Played a game one hour...everything's fine...play a game the next hour, get an update and cannot accept an invite to a game (or more to the point, it accpets and then you time out having never enterred the game). Same behaviour on my friend's PC as well.

well to fix it u have to let aom throught the firewall hope it works for you guys.

Oh software firewalls are so awful. Is that what you've got? Norton Internet Security or equivalent? They cause no end of problems such as this.
