Come on ppl, bored to write what exactly this fix does? It fixes the 2.4/stat upload errors that ppl get and prevent them from uploading game stats. And this means that you dont get your points once you win a rated game. This error is caused only if you have a certain security patch installed(832894). So if you have these errors, you probably have this patch installed, thus you need this hotfix in order to fix this problem.

I installed the hotfix but don't work for me :-(

Bah, it won't install since it says that it is in-compatible with my Windows cuz my Windows is in Swedish. I'll have to wait for 'em to fix the thing for Swedish Windows (which they site says will come soon)...

You need to have installed msxm to install the hotfix... I have it, but after I installed hotfix the problem still remains the same

I do everthing... installed hotfix, deleted zsl files, do all of US_Terror topic... but 2,4 error still remains

If this works it is of course much better than the link you did Shiva. This would be the correct way since it allows you to get the critical update on the comp.

The Hotfix doesn't work cos it can't find MSXML...hmmm.....but I havent actually tested AOM yet.

BTW, the actual Critical Update has been updated (Released 2nd Feb, updated 5th Feb), to version 1.3, which may fix the problem anyway.

It does not appear in the Critical Updates list (since you already have version 1.0 of the Critical Update), but can be found here:

The only solution that works for me is remove KB832894
Now I'm testing reinstall KB832894 and hotfix again

If I install the KB832894 my AOM don't upgrade my stats... with hotfix or not... the problem still remains.
My windows XP is home edition (brazilian language) and I installed the patch in portuguese BR.
I don't understand what is wrong :-(

well they wont get lost. Until the problem is fixed, just play unrated I guess. when it gets fixed you should get your points.

Sorry Shiva, but the thread you linked to does not present a solution, but rather a workaround.

You can try ZSLUpload until there is a workaround. Works for my Age of Mythology 2,4 error.
