It is our pleasure to announce the first of hopefully many to come Age of Mythology: Extended Edition Deathmatch tournaments hosted by Druidz E-sport Sweden.
Being experimental for the organization, this tournament's prizes will be community-driven, but we would like you to know that our management and the sponsors are watching - upon success, future support will absolutely be considered.
•Bo3 in early rounds, Bo5 in semifinals, finals and bronze match.
•Must be played using the DM map set provided at:
•Alternating map picks: higher seeded player picks the first map, other player then picks 2 (Bo3: ABB format, Bo5: ABBAA format).
•Alternating god picks: players announce their god first on the map they picked based on the system of alternating map picks (as described above, ABB format for Bo3, and ABBAA format for Bo5 where the higher seeded player starts). After each game, the winner of the previous game MUST change gods, the loser MAY or may not. However, no player can play one and the same god more than twice in a series.
•Save on TC imbalance is mandatory if requested by either side within the first 3 minutes (sharp) of game-time (missing TC's on the map meaning an uneven amount of settlements to claim).
•Each player has 2 vetoes per Bo3 series, and 4 vetoes per Bo5 series, regardless the reasons other than the above (missing Town Centres on the map) they want to use it for. Ideally, they are used for saving on maps that are in your disadvantage for whatever reason. Once you're out of vetoes, you cannot use any more, even if you are confronted with a map that's severely in your disadvantage. A veto can only be used if use is stated within the first 45 seconds of a game; if a veto is called, the other player is obliged to save and restart. Demanding a restart because of a missing TC on the map (requested within the first 3 minutes) does not take up any vetoes (and thus can still be demanded even if a player is already out of vetoes). Saving and restarting means the same gods and the same map are being hosted again and re-started.
•No docks or titans allowed.
•You must provide your match replays on either challonge or here on the forums. Failure in doing so may result in a penalty for your next match.
Provided you are able to record/stream in high quality, do not hesitate to offer your casting in the sign up topic(Druidz forums) or privately. We will contact you and potentially feature you on the site's streaming/video page.
If you would like to contribute to the prize pool, feel free to let us know in the sign up topic or privately as well.
