The Warriors Of Sparta

It has been 2 months after the battle of Sparta!!
The source of the attack is still unknown
why did it happen??
Who would want, and be able to do something so horrific so quickly?
The once great city is gone, Nothing but rubble, ash and dust.
There were few survivors, the great Spartan army didn’t stand a chance. Who did this?
They came in such great numbers that no army could have fought and defeated it.
How could there be an army of such volume and not have been heard of before now.
Questions need to be answered!!
The once mighty king had fled to Athens at the first sign of attack,
Neighboring cities have taken up arms previously never held fearing that they could be the next target.
Greece has already lost one main city, they do not want to lose another!
Two of the Sparta’s royal guards, Jason & Theseus have been ordered to do what ever necessary to find out who was responsible, why this happened and how to defeat a seemingly unconquerable foe.
Vengeance is inevitable.

There are so many good campaigns coming up! Can't wait 'til the summer!
(L_J_C, nothing personal) but IMO most eye candy buildign overlapping is overdone and ugly. Don't know why, but I don't like to see it... Well, it must be me and my eyes ...

Yay! Nice storyline! Makes me curious

Screenies look nice, and I disagree with oddy about the ugly overlapping, since it's (in my opinion) the only way to get more out of the editor, and the only way to create realistic towns. (No offence Oddy).

    Good luck!

If you have the NEW EDITOR mod, you can change pitch both in editor AND playtest mode.

When playtesting, I think you can find a pitch option in the menu.

Hmm, your screenshot reminds me of a quite cool fact I discovered long ago, but forgot: the HISTORY/INFO behind the 'sign'-unit.

    Check it out!

Sorry, was in a hurry, should've been less short.

The miscelaneous one made me remember a cool thing, because there's a road sign in the middle
This cool thing is: You know the 'encyclopaedia' of AoM? When you richt-click a unit's icon, you get there on the page of that unit. If you select a roadsign and click on it's icon, you get some nice info Try it!

Edit: Screenies look beautiful by the way .

Arch that also reminds me of the AoK:TC campaign the one about the spanish guy (forgot his name) if you selected a certain signpost on that it told you something

    BTW good work LJC

The select sign post --> send chat "East: rome. West: Paris"-trick wasn't only used in El Cid (that's the one you mean, right? Or do you mean the costum campaign about Cortez?) but also in for example Jeanne d'Arc, and I'm pretty sure some custom scenarios used it aswell...

I'm using it in AMNESIA It's a good way to give hints, especially in a non-linear map.

Sounds like a pretty cool trick!!
I might just add that as a extra little feature
Most of the info comes from talking to people in my campaign

Really good, but i suggest trying to make another Tc... that one seems to be a lot o Citadel one on the other... Try mixing them better. The same to the houses.
    posted 18 March 2004 06:35 AM EDT (US)     24 / 54
You can easily improve the multi-citadel TC by adding some houses to it. Kinda like what I did to the hill fort (the one to the right) in this picture, only a bit bigger. It just adds that extra dimension to big buildings.
    posted 18 March 2004 11:10 AM EDT (US)     25 / 54
so what your saying is add a bit of a mixture around it??
Keep the tc as it is but add a few things?
I kinda like the TC though hmm..

I like that Amnesia symbol across the mini map Archaeopterix!!
How u do that,Painshop or somthing??
