SUMMARY: I was just toying with the editor, and i found some pretty awesome things that might give you some ideas on your designing. There are just some of the thousand things you can do with the editor. i decided to list some which i've never heard from anyone else. so here it is.
~this is what might happen when enlarging objects way too much, it will cause the objecti to go off borders ~Here is something i noticed. the outlines will take the form of the terrain in which was elevated. here is another example: < ~This object was selected when a screenshot was taken. it DOES NOT create outlines when enlarging. ~There are some objects that have a limitted size when you try to enlarge them. here are some examples:
As you can see, when i took these pictures, the objects
~Some people might know this already, but in order to take out these pesky outlines you have to elevate the terrain. by doing this, it will hide the outlines, but it will not get delete them. here is an example:
~The titans gate can really be useful on designing. In order for units to cross under the titan gate, you must enlarge them until the dirt floor of this object desappears. all the titan gates generate outlines. so i just elevated the terrain making the outlines"desappear" as i explained above.
~There are some objects which can be rotated in a Y-axis, giving them the appearence of being floating. Examples:
~The following are objects which can be created by rotating, or enlarging objects:
~There is a posibility of making a tunnel going downwards by just putting the right elevation, and the right rotation.
~ By turning the fountain upside down, hiding the outlines, and elevatiing the terrain, you can come up with something like this
NOTE: The texture of these waterfalls are really soft, so you have to be careful how you paint the background. You can also tilt this object to the side, and hide some parts of the healing fountain, leaving the water showing. these waterfalls can create rapid waters if rotated on a certain way as well as normal waterfalls.
