To some people, the army system might be quite complicated. After you've read this guide or even just step one, you will make your scenarios even better. It's much easier than selecting a ton of units and making them do stuff.
To start off, open up the army editor and select one or more unit, then click on the create army button. Now you have an army. Now for the triggers. This is an example of what an army trigger looks like: Show will show you the army from the drop down list and make is the quick way of making an army. Select a group of units or just one and click make. Select the army and select where they will have a distence from to fire the effects. Also, set the < To get an army to build a building, select an army, select the building from the drop down menu and select where it will be built. This is quite simple. Select the army and set what unit it/they will change into. Select the army and select what player it will convert to. This is the most complicated and most used army trigger. This will get rid of the army selected. This will flash an army for however seconds you tell it to. This will make an army walk to a unit of your choice and garrison in it. This will rotate an army. This will highlight an army. Its exactly the same as Army flash but instead of flashing, it stays lit like that. It's like army destroy but it uses the death animation. This will make an army move to a point of your choice Works like army move instead of moving to a point of your choice it's a unit of your choice e.g. a cinematic block. It makes an army do an animation. There is a list of animations that come with the new editor. I shouldn't need to tell you what this one does. It takes an army from where they are standing, to another area. This makes an army ever repair a building, get a resource or attack a building. Ghost armies are just like regular armies. They act like normal armies, that look like regular armies, they sound like regular armies. There's just one difference: they are not a group of units, they're not there. To make a ghost army, open the army editor, type in a name for the army, set what player it will belong to and then press the ghost army botton. There you go, a ghost army To make the ghost army do stuff, you need to use the army deploy trigger. Use that, and you've done it! Well, there you go! I might also add ryek's new army triggers as well, soon. [This message has been edited by Titan602 (edited 01-28-2006 @ 02:21 PM).]
