i can make lava look like it's spitting.
for it coming out of a pool you need a pit with a fire siphon or fireship in it.
or for water find a lava watertype and put in fireships shrunk down so they can't be seen. for BOTH you need to increase the range and LOS for the fireship/siphon
and increase the lifespan and speed of the protounit "fire siphon fire" the fire siphon and fireship BOTH use this. playtest with a unit for the fire siphon/ship to attack. it will appear like the lava's spitting at the unit!
i don't have screenies,i'll let nottud do that,but i found this trick. if it would let me submit it i'd have a scenario with this effect used in a pit of doom styled map.

It's been done before with fire giants (might look even better than fire syphons). But it's a cool find. Can't wait for screenies

    The reason why I asked if your dutch is because

    pik means cock in dutch

    But don't worry the word pik is also used as a slang for pal or friend so it can also be used as a friendly word

    so something like

    He pik hoe is het ermee ? = he dude how are you doing ?

    anyway nice find maybe you could add some screenies of how the final result looks or step by step to make it more visual for us other forummers
