The ULTIMATE Anti-Editing System!
The ULTIMATE Anti-Editing System!
Greetings, mortals! I have recently seen lots of threads about anti-editing systems, and was perplexed with a 'perfect' solution. Well now, I present that solution to you! (Please note, this has been used before but not been told to the public. It isnt my idea
When you start a map make your first few triggers. Then make a 'dead' trigger. This will become the anti-editing trigger later on. It
When you have completed your map, make the trigger into something like this:
Is dead (
Quest Var Check: Anti Editing = 0

Disguise the names!
Now when youre completely finished place a mercenary and hide it somewhere and make that the unit dead in your trigger. But hurry!
This works because mercenaries have a lifespan. The N00bs would either have to find your disguised trigger or have about 20 seconds to perform their malicious actions. They cant even change the name if it takes too long!
You should also add a trigger that cancels the lifespan. So say Quest Var Set Anti Editing to 1 after 10 seconds.
Its also good to leave a few 'dead' decoys around
I hope you all find this useful and include it in your maps! N00b editing ends here!
(If this has been done before, sorry. But everyone should know!)
