Welcome to Mafia! Please read all the info below before DOING ANYTHING! DO not even make a post without reading all the information below. Pre-mature actions could ruin this game. Email are being sent out now with roles, please read them, and DO NOT TELL ANYONE if you have a special role. You should always act as a townie, unless you want your death to come soon. DO NOT TRUST anybody when they say "Im a ____" such as a sheriff or depudy, they are probolay lieing. The only people who should share roles are the mafia members to other mafia members and between the Sheriff and the Informer. If you have any questions please ask me @ MSN:mrnobody010@hotmail.com or my email, which is the same as my msn. Please anybody who isnt in the game do not make comments.

Please post 1 messege when you receive your role and say "confirmed role," nothing more nothing less. The game will start when everybody received and confirmed their roles. I am sending out roles now.

Story

I was a quiet day in Weston. The sand blew down Center street with a quite wisp that tickled your face. Tumbleweed found a home along the roads as it became caught on horse ties. Old man Gereald rocked on his chair as he stared at the endless sand. “These days ain’t like the ol’ days,” he stuttered, “a lot of trouble been’ about.” Henry, the blacksmith, replied “Oh Gereald, eve’ since ol’ Jaden was looked up I dun’t think dem Dust boys have the guts to stir up no trouble.” At that time Jaden, who was listening on through the jail walls replied, “you aint seen the end of this. Just then The lumbering, dirty men walked up the stairs to the local bar. They pushed Gereald off the porch into the sand with a menacing laugh “old man, you aint seen nutten yet.” Night Fell, and the local towns people walked to home, weary of the 3 men who have just drank their hearts out. The sheriff takes note, and keeps weary eye on those three.

Roles:
[i]Townie: (borrowed from David's rules) The townies has nothing specific to do, but, they are the largest group. Thus, on daytime, they are the ones who decide who's going to get lynched - if they can agree on someone that is. In this game, everyone usually pretends to be a townie, and the hard part is to figure out who's telling the truth, and who's lying and should be lynched for the best of the town.

Sheriff: The law keeper of the town, he is out after the outlaws. Armed with his trusty shotgun, he stalks the night looking for those shifty outlaws. He can kill one player per night. (attempt at mafia please) He will send His actions (killing) to ME (Maximus) at my email or msn.

Deputy: The apprentice of the sheriff. This man may be a step down from the law keeper, but he can still wield a gun like nobody’s business. He will usually go to a townie’s home each night to protect. The deputy can protect 1 player each night. He will send his actions to ME (maximus) at my MSN or Email

Kensy Informer:This is a man of gossip, and sees, hears, and knows all. If something is happening, he will be the first to know. He can investigate one player each night and see their roles. He will send his actions to me (Maximus) at my msn or email

Note: The sheriff and Informer will be able to converse, the deputy cannot now.

The Dust Gang: These are a group of outlaws known throughout the west. Recently the sheriff busted one of their carriage hi-jacks and put Jaden, their leader, in jail. They are out for revenge and to bust Jaden out of jail. They are allowed to kill one player each night, and and converse with each other. There are 3-4 outlaws (depending on amount of players)These players can converse. They will send their night actions to ME (Maximus) at my email or MSN.

Lynching
Once a day All players (townies and prentending-to-be townies) will vote on a player to lynch, this should be who the townies think is Mafia.

Other rules: (some (alot )borrowed from David-thurdl)
1) If you are not a member of the outlaws or Informer and Cop, please refrain from revealing anything about yourself or your role in private communication outside of the thread (excpet mafia with other mafia and cop talking with teh informer). It could mean your death, really, do not TRUST anyone except who I say to in your email.
2) Any member who I deem inactive will be replaced. This will be my decision, based on ACTIVITY IN THE THREAD.
3) If you are dead, or not a member of the game to begin with, please do not post accusations or extra information about the game which might sway the votes or actions of the living.
4) Lynching will require a majority of players, and not a plurality of votes. I will only set daytime deadlines if the vote seems bogged down. If no player has a majority by the deadline, no lynching will occur.
5) Lynchings will occur as soon as the necessary vote is cast. If votes are made or retracted after that vote but before I post the lynching narrative, they will be disregarded.
6) Please keep posting to a minimum at Night.
7) When casting a vote, or an unvote, please put them in bold to make them easier for me to pick out. Votes that are not bolded will not necessarily be invalid, but may be more likely to be overlooked when I am doing counts.
8) All decisions of the moderator are final, even when they seem incorrect.
