Dear Recipient,
A new, previously unknown continent has been discovered somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. You, along with eight others have been contacted in order to develop a Utopian form of governing structure in order to provide an ideal society when colonists arrive in the following weeks. A boat will arrange to pick you up at the designated port at the designated time. Your support and cooperation is appreciated.
While it was not clear why you received this letter, or who sent it to you, there were more pertinent questions. Why are there eleven, not eight others? And why are their clothing styles so vastly different from the traditional wear you expected? Many questions had yet to be resolved…
As the founding fathers of a new political structure, you must elect a Presiding Officer every day, to serve a term for the following night and day. Officers are iron during their night term, and vote with the strength of two during their day term.
The town must either choose to elect a Presiding Officer for the following day or abstain from doing so. The day will not conclude (and lynch results not released) if the town has not voted to either abstain or elect an officer. You may not be elected more than once to Presiding Officer, nor be impeached during term.
Voting for Presiding Officer is conducted in bold blue as shown (votes will not be counted in any other format):
