I´m new to AoMH. Well, I have a good experience with AoM (making scenarios, not playing the game). When I came to know that other people on the web could play my scenarios, (as stupid as it may sound) I was amazed. So here I am.
But well... enough babbling.
One of my goals is to have everything balanced. The amount gameplay, eyecandy, storyline, instructions and etc. is going to be as similar as possible.
The map is not too big (in fact, it´s 200 x 200, but trust me, it´s enough), but good quality makes up for quantity.
Look forward to it, you wont be dissapointed.
This takes place in Irosnia, a land of beasts and heroes. This has never been a peacefull land, but there have always been heroes to protect it. These heroes guard their respective home towns from the beasts.
But everything had a balance. The people could live between the heores and the beasts, and live in peace. But someday, something broke that order...
Here are some screens from the early stage of the game (screens are from in-game, not the editor):
Yes, they are very "simplistic", but sometimes it´s better that way, becuase of lags, or anything. Hope you like them.
Well, I´ll list only some of the features, the list will grow gradually.
From dawn to day, dusk to night, and an advanced rain system, that is. With light effects (as seen in some the screenies), sounds, and use some of pftq´s new XS triggers (Great triggers), such as Teleport near unit, good results.
A bit unconventional. You´ll see.
With some little modifications. Used for a lot of things, making the game more playable.
Obviously, you´ll be able to rotate the camera (if you have a wheel in your mouse, of course), but the special feature here is that the camera is centered in your main unit when you control it. That is, when there isn´t any cutscene. It really adds to the RPG/Adventure feeling.
There are many other features, but I don´t want to spoil anything. I´m going to add some new ones here, though.
