Age of Mythology and The Titans:
Back to Beta Modpack

What is it?
The Back to Beta Modpack adds beta objects from the AoM Beta and Alpha and from the Titans Alpha:

- Includes alltogether more than 80 objects.

- Buildings and Units are in different variations.

- Many Eye-Candy objects

- Compatible with Age of Mythology and The Titans.

- and many, many more...

Who did it?

The Back to Beta Modpack is from the Mythological World Designers:

Programmer and Texturer: Kastor

Programmer: Fire Giant

When is it done?

We thinks its done in the late winter or in the early spring.

Here are some Screenshots:

i did look at the forums. i just thought Kast0r_55 changed his nickname to Kastor since i havent seen him for a long while.

I wasn't referring to you, I just said Kastor isn't looking very much at these forums, not you
Anyway Kastor is still working on the mod, and that's the important thing.

I'd just like to say some things to Kastor, 1st, and most important one, please remember to put a text file with the proto for the new units, so I can add them without deleting my existing mods, 2nd, 80% complete? great! but what the release date? I hope it's soon , 3rd, please submit it also to AoM H.
This is all, great mod, and congrats to Kastor and to Fire Giant

He the fisherman is already inside the Modpack!

I'm working hard on the mod, but it is very difficult to work alone on so an big thing.

And no, you can't help making the mod, cause you wouldn't know what's already done and so on...

EDIT:

I hope I can upload BtB 1.0 soon... It doesn't matter that there isn't every unit inside... when 1.1 comes out then you can edit and play 1.0 maps, too.

So BtB is coming, soon!

I got many new textures tomorrow and I'm working on them. I think they will be in BtB 1.0
posted 25 March 2004 11:19 AM EDT (US)     93 / 152
Hehe, Kastor, I think you meant "yesterday" (gestern), no ?Just because you can't "have got" textures in the future

I hope we will be able to release something soon, but still there's something you should know and understand: MWD is a design team that primarily focuses on scenario design and not on modding - so mod projects will always have less priority than scenarios and the estimated release dates are therefore not quite sure

Fire don´t do beanzäling (i have no idea whats this in English) He also got school English and I had known what he means^^. It`s absolutely right of you to sai that you are a team for scenarios and not for mods and I and (I hope so) the rest of the aomh community will axcept this.

I also hope there are not to bad Germanistic mistakes in it:P

Well, obviously I can't demand that everyone uses a perfect english, simply because people are different and many do not have English as their native language. But still I think there's nothing about correcting some possibly irritating mistakes in order to make the sense clear - just because we need to keep a certain "level of language" in here, in order to keep the forums readable, and correcting mistakes helps people to improve their language (that's what they do at school as well).

And Jotschgl - well, if it's an English post, there can hardly be any "Germanistic" mistakes, or ? (btw, it's "say" and "accept" ).

or
I know what he means.

*More screenshots*

A condition is not a trigger.
An effect is not a trigger.
A trigger is a combination of one or more conditions and effects.
It causes effects to happen if and when conditions are met.
Period.

Has the release date been pushed further? I'm sure the next week you referred to is last week.
