NEW X EDITOR POWER EDITION for AoM Expansion "The Titans"
contains New X Editor 1.02 and SomeNewXTriggers 1.01
NEW X EDITOR 1.0 (updated)
This Editor mod for the AoM Expansion "The Titans" contains more than 160 additional or new features for the AoM Expansion Editor, altogether over 400 editor variations now.
This version is only for the use with the X-Pack, but do also work with AoM (with small restrictions).
The most important innovations are:
--Adjustment to the appearance of the Titans- Expansion with the new functions
--Animation x names, portrait (icon) x names and non-editor x objects (at "Misc.Objects)
--Sun Specular can be individually adjusted
--Camera position displayable in the Minimap
--Some Changes in the Pitch Editor, "Camera Limit Off" available
--Villager stats are shown ingame
--Water Colors alterable
and many more
Another functions:
=> Cover terrain with water, all waterbodies selectable
=> Triggers can be saved and copied
=> Camera Tracks can be saved and loaded
=> Names of the Animations, Portraits and Gadgets callably
=> Load a Save Game into the Editor
=> Place Objects: larger Object Picture, Object Names better legible
=> Set Camera Cut and Show the cut, altogether 12 cuts saveable!
=> Save the Lighting you set, also in color - for use in your own scenarios!
=> Saving the copied terrain (terrain buffer save and load)
=> Open the Console for commands input (like that it is possible to enter own lighting colors)
=> Editor Timer,
and many, many things more.
-Naturally are present all possibilities of the last AoM versions.
-Without online errors.
-Detailed list of contents in the "New Editor" subfolder of AoM.
-Easy installer and uninstaller
SOME NEW X TRIGGERS 1.0 (updated)
This Mod contains 22 new conditions and 57 new effects, which are additionally available for a scenario. They are saved in a scenario, so that these are always implemented (even if this Mod is not installed). GAIA is selectable at all respective triggers. All triggers with an object selection are also present as "By Name" triggers, you can write in the object-info name or the scen-name of a new created object.
Some examples of New Effects:
"Army Change Name" => change the names of all units of an army
"Army Damage"=> damage all units of an army
"Army Set Current HP": =>This can be used to heal or restory the army, or to damage buildings or units in an army.
"Camera Cut Object": =>Type in the textfield the ID-No. (Object-Info) of an object, the camera will cut. With loop the camera will trace the object. "Disable Trigger" set the loop off. So You can trace an unit without a Camera Track.
"Unit Set Stance": =>A selected single unit will change their stance.
"Units Create Multi" (by TwentyOneScore): =>Modification of the effect "Unit Create Multi", effect without the Original`s bug (the original effect doesn`t work).
"Set Water": => cover the terrain with water, you can flood the map ingame

also included the USER DEFINED conditions and effects by TwentyOneScore

This deserves the rating I gave it, it is an amazing enhancement of the editor, it gives you lots of important new triggers (I am using some in my campaign) and a more intresting interface to the editor.
Additional Comments:
This is a must for serious scenario designers! It even helps if you are just starting out like some people (ie: me)
So in conclusion I say: Download this!

Really nice work!
Really functional and nice. But I wish there were a Help file or FAQ included, ( built-in ). And that you can zoom in and out, not only on the minimap, but also in the main window. |

For anyone who thought the AOM/AOT editors were a missed opportunity. This Editor mod creates such functionality in those editors that they finally surpass the AOK editor. Extra options abound for the advanced designer. And amazingly enough, the new editor actually cuts the learning curve in HALF for newbie designers. A MUST download.

Great GUI for camera angle and everything. The sheer amount of new triggers is amazing!
Additional Comments: I'd like to see an "Army Set Stance" or maybe even "Player Default Stance" in the future. An awesome job!
