To find the proto.xml, first you have to download Aomed, here: http://aom.heavengames.com/scendesign/modding/tutorial/
Once you intalled Aomed, run it and click read data file. Choose data.bar in the data folder of age of mythology. After a while it should be done.Click direct file conversion and select proto.xmb(or protox.xmb if you have the xpack).It should be converted into proto(x).xml
.Put it wherever you want, then open it with notepad.After you copy and paste the contents from the proto.txt in this download, save a move the proto(x).xml into the data folder of age of mythology.

when i add the text from the download, where do it go in the protox.xml? is it right after the /proto or before that?
