I give you this rating for 2 reasons:
a) I don't recall another guide on the topic
and
b) The idea of twisting-turning river
Adjusting the types of trees, animals and embellishment to the type of river was also good, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Additional Comments:
For a river to twist-turn there are 2 reasons, one if the terrain it runs through is mostly flat and the river dosen't have great speed, and two if the river finds an obstacle in it's path, like a mass of rocks. So -like you wrote- it's good to make small "hills" where the turns of the river are, but you also need proper placement and enough quantity of rocks.

I agree it does make butify look silly yours looks so good im gonna use this guide for the river in my NEW RPG ty so much for making this guide

sdorey just becuz ur a lazy guy it doesnt mean everybody is. if u want to use "beautify" then use it but id rather make it more beautiful and nice looking if ur lazy then ur in the wrong place
