I recently started to mak some mods to AoM (i.e. units, textures).
As i am mainly Mac-user (i only have AoM for Mac), i had to do all the conversion of the files on a PC. very annoying.
So i'm starting to program the needed software
for conversion for the mac myself.
This is the first test-release with the first feature.
For a start it has a bar-file extractor.
Next I'm planing to add ddt or xmb export.
--
Second release features DDT conversion to BMP or PNG.
256*256 DDTs are handled a bit slow.
Hopefully the dialog-boxes are in english now.
Upcomming features are bmp to ddt and next xmb and some speed improvements.
Please test it and send me your opinions.
Thanks for taking the time to make this utility. As a Mac owner and a newcomer to AOM any helps to make the gaming experience more enjoyable is welcome. It is a little frustrating being on the Mac platform for games anyway. I'm envious of clash of the titans owners (not on Mac platform) but am looking forward to AOE 3 for the Mac. Although I am 4 years behind everybody else I am trying to learn about scenario editing etc... If you know of anymore utilities etc...that work on or for the Mac please let me know. As well as any particularly good or helpful articles on the subject. Thanks again

to put files on aomh you go to submit file right above browse categories to the left. but the stuff your submitting has to be in a zip file if you have a pc then find the website for winzip, if you have a mac like me go to stuffit expander and download it.

This is great! Now all that's needed is XMB export. That would be really helpful! Thanks.
