Welcome mortal
....welcome in the realm of the god Poseidon.
You show courage by travelling the vast Atlantic Ocean all alone.
And this courage gives you the favor of Poseidon. He will tell you the secrets on how to explore his realm ..... an honour which only a vew mortals before you have been granted.

The Wonders of the Deep interactive eyecandy map was created in the scope of the AomH 2006 Pretty Town competition. Notice this is NOT a playable scenario but an explorable eyecandy map. Check the features below.

Yeah, fair enough. Anyway, I played it and it is a really, I'll repeat, REALLY well deigned map! This is a very professional cinematic with even a bit of gameplay in there.

I definetly think that this did derserve 1st prize in the contest! Congradulations, The Vandhaal. I always look forward to playing, (or watching) your scenarios and campaigns!

Wow! Great job on this map, it is amazing! I really like the implode shere (bubbles) and vortex effect. It looks really good and the music and voices are high quality. Must have taken a long time and a well deserved first place in the competition. Well done!

I am happy that you liked it and I am happy that you think that i deserved first place....because this will probably be the first and the last aomh competition I will be part of.

No it did not take that long to create my map....basicly 2 days of designing and triggering and one day for recording and editing sounds....so in total 3 days....
it was an honour that i won this the more because my initial goal for entering was simply to get more guys and girls involved.....so that part is the most important to me...and I am happy the competition was succesfull enough with 16 designers involved.

I see this also more like victory of AoM community custom scenario design......and hope AoM will stay alive for a little longer !

I would have loved! being able to rate it! From the images and movies I luckily watched. But this wouldn't be fair, right? This kind of AoM scenario by The Vandhaal shows in my opinion the best side of this amazing game. Thanks for bringing it so far near the stars... even under water.
I'm really pissed especially 'cause I couldn't experiment this very interesting interactive chat system you came up with. Never heard of that before and it sounds so interesting...
