Guide: Play custom movies inside your AoM game with the play movie effect
Author: The Vandhaal

Ok this guide is about adding custom movies to your scenarios with the Play movie effect. Ofcourse you can also change the start up movies ( intro movies) of the AoM game itself but this guide is not about modding the aom game but about adding your own movies to your scenarios or play movies through scenarios.

I am not much of a Guide writer so I hope all is clear enough.
I also do not claim this as my own discovery...but i have never seen a guide from it so thats why i wrote this
Special thanx to Nottud because he helped/inspired me to look a bit deeper into this play movie stuff

---------------------------------

The download pack contains:
  • A read me file for install instructions
  • The guide (html file)
  • playmovie effect guide.scx (AoM tt scenario file)
  • vandhaallogo.aom
  • vandhaallogojingle.bik
  • RADTools.exe (full program installer)

OH, COOL! I used this for my games too, got bored of the old movies and put in new ones. Do you guys know about the hidden video? Use this line: avi\outtakes.bik

Oh and I haven't used it in scenario's though so I don't know about that.

Vandhaal, I love you. :-)

This is a great advancement. The guide, itself, was very well written and detailed. The idea was genius. Overall, it is fantastic. Not much more to say than that. Can't wait to see some custom vids in AoM.

Bink is actually the program ES used to make the movies for the game! Isn't it an awsome program?
