Scouting the lands... looking for somewhere to buy a shade.

*chuckle* I've not looked at or played the map before, so I'm restricted to hoping you don't find one.

Captured a prison but didn't get my shade. I did get some nice troops though. May have caused a restart message. I doubt it but maybe. Sent you an email.

Captured a useless resource through heavy fighting. Minor scouting.

Scouting... Boring. Things should get better tomorrow!

I continue to scout around and have found more cities.

Added some demons to the fold and some income.

Captured a node.

Hired some very useful troops today.

Hero was ambushed during the night by independents. Survived with 2 hit points. This will slow down the plans.

Working my way around the board.

Made contact with the enemy, stole a windmill.

Hero, 3rd level unit, and wizard all died in horrendously foolish attack.

Continue to explore. Sorry about your luck but I'd be remiss if I said I was doing great.

Scouting

More Scouting, minor battles. Watching enemy run around my land.

I'm finding myself on the losing end of far too many battles.

Great day for Perses' Empire. First, a single unicorn was able to kill a halfling scoundrel whom was reputed to be invincible. Surprisingly, he was found near dead already and could barely stand. An easy victory. (Sorry about your luck Hiranu, that should have been your victory easily)

Elsewhere resources are claimed. Magic is pooled and armies spread for "operation shade-hunt".

I lost another battle today trying to take down independants. This is definatly not going my way.

Spent five minutes trying to think of something witty yet sincere about killing your shade. Came up with nothing. Maybe tomorrow.

Captured a couple of undefended enemy cities.

Moved troops.

I gratly miss my lone shade, who had served me so well. His memory is somewhat avanged by the defeat of the incoming army.

***By the way, I signed up for the battlefield about a month ago and just went back to that site to get started there as well and noticed you are doing extremely well. Congratualations. Feel free to use our games if you wish. I'm not sure if our games would or can help you but I'll read the rules today.

Recaptured my draconian town and a hero joined.

Enemy burned his capitol and is running. Noticed his own troops aren't too happy with him.

In fact I'm running for my life, but I don't think it will help.

Sent Ambir to the void. Trying to figure out were she's going now.

I still have a town with a tower, so I'm not dead yet, but I will be. I'm willing to surrender if you'd like, or I can fight it out till the bitter end. Your call.

Surrender is always better than to drag things out. There's no fun in that. It's your call.

BTW- Great move with the hero attack. Didn't even occur to me.

In which case, I'm calling it. (And the difference between the hero attack and a great move is that great moves typically actually work.)

I'm always up for as many games as possible so another would be great. I properly signed up for battlefield (I'm pretty confused on the site). So if we could have a duo Ladder game all the better.

As for game preference, your choice. You've played more PBEM maps than myself.
