Day 5 is off...We have finally come across our nasty little dark elf cousins...down in the underworld, no less. We shall have to invite them upstairs for cookies...being the polite, good elves that we are..

*burp* Interesting taste these light elves have. Definatly I prefer white meat.

That is absolutely the last time we invite those disgusting dark elves up for cookies! We shall, from now on, be working under the rules of engagement we developed when Ghengis Khan and his hoard last interloped. With the exception of our gladerunner who was deathly afraid of spiders and surrendered on the spot, Our troops fought with exceptional bravery...We close with the words we live by around these parts...You don't frighten us, English pig-dogs! Go and boil your bottom, sons of a silly person. I blow my nose at you, so-called Arthur King, you and all your silly English k-nnnnniggets. Thpppppt! Thppt! Thppt!

With our thoughtful use of the 'rearward advance' maneuvre, we feel that we now have the upper hand in this conflict.

Since we havn't seen those acrimonious little creatures for a couple of days, we assume they are busy drafting their letter of surrender to the glorious elven army...we will graciously accept, of course!

Time passes slowly at the bottom of a well, but still we buid up strength. The cursed random beasts that wonder this world almost brought us low, and now we must start again. But we shall perservere. We are the true carriers of the elven birthright. And we shall feast on their eyes when the day is through.

(Which will go well with those cookies they seem to carry around.)

We hope you are comfortable down in that well and recommend that you have quite an extended stay down there. We would send more cookies but since it was so costly in elven troops the last time, we will be putting all 'humanitiarian' endeavors on hold.

As we all know from our childhood 'Tales of the Dales': who's responsible for that sock that dissappears from the dryer?...who makes your AM radio signals crap out at precisely 5:50 pm pst??...who leaves the wad of gum on the mall parking lot in just the right spot for you to step on when getting out of your car???...I think we are making clear the nature of true evil embodied by the Dark Elves...but alas, our nemesis also gives us our strength..and we shall fight with all our Elfly power to end this mennace!!!

Well of course we take your socks. We must have socks to power the chewing gum factory, which we start up every night at 5:50 so its RF emissions can cancel out the offending elfin radio signals. And we leave you the gum as gifts, and yet you reject them and leve them beneath your shoes?

Ah...some of our younger generation were beginning to doubt the wisdom contained in 'Tales of the Dale'...but to see the above words straight from the dark elfs own grimy little keyboards...there can be no doubt as to the 'crooked thinking' of the enemy! Meanwhile, since we have an excess of cookies these days, we have decided to share them with a pack of cute, stout, little dwarves. They have REALLY great beer....

*grumbles about the truly lousy ale that orc's produce*

Just be patient a little while longer. We are assembling a 'welcome wagon' to 'visit' your land with. We'll bring lotsa beer and cookies...we promise.

And we do hope that your wizard and her gargoyle friend are wandering around your land all alone like that when the 'welcome wagon' arrives!

Just made some new friends. Those humans have the most delightful food items called pretzels....with Dwarven beer and these....it's party time in Danny's Sock!!

Actually the succubi were so annoyed at being called gargoyles, those foul creatures of dwarven decent, that they redoubled their efforts, and brought me souls to spend for the cause of darkness.

In that case...those gargoyles really sucubied....

My succibi were almost felled from the air on that bad pun, but they steadied themselves. Now we build, and wait to attack again.

A steady gargoyle (whether they fancy themselves 'succubi' or not) is a naughty gargolye and should be put away for good!!!

Had a bit of an unfortunate adventure with my wizard, but otherwise things go mostly according to plan.

We here at Good Elfland would have hoped that your Wizards' "unfortunate adventure" had been a little more permanente...but as the game still continues, I guess the little rascal has scraped by again!
