First day under the sun. Nothing was captured today, but tommorow is more promising.

Today the pile of resourses was liberated from band of elves and a very useful strucure was added to my capital.

Tommorow the town of orcs will be captured, the price they demand is not acceptable.

Arthur - Days 2 -3

One dark elven town flies our flag while another town seems to be thinking it out...we will give it one more day and then strike!!

Merlin Day 5.

And today one more town joined orcish kingdom. It is populated by syron people, and they have to be replaced by normal orcs. Yet it will take some time to accomplish.

No towns captured today. I'm not happy with speed of my expansion. Somehow lots of soldiers manage to stop one step away from target each turn.

Arthur - Days 4-6

Atleast my opponent has added one more town to his kingdom...our surroundings are inhabited by filthy hobbits and mercenery demons asking for too much price that we don't have. And my armies are too far away exploring to bring them all together.

Have been building nothing for the past two turns to buy another undead town and next turn...it will be ours, along with that seductive woman mayor.

Merlin Day 7.

New town, populated by rich tigrans was captured today. Also my scout has found and claimed a mine. Now gold income is enough to build what I want.

Meanwhile hero is becoming more powerful daily. Two items that he had found are quite useless, but his own powers are impressive.

1)Two new towns captured (both of are of good races, but in three more days it will be corrected);

2)Quest of Order Spirit completed, useful reward received.

Merlin Days 10-11.

Several contacts with Arthur... In the central area one unit lost, and one more will be lost during the night probably, in the south menace of hidden blade dancers. Not very good, but I have my own weapons prepared.

Well, well...so my bladedancers have been noticed, have they?.
Suddenly Merlin seems to be everywhere and with a goddly stack in all places too.
My troops are being stretched thin...not building anything to buy a couple of towns was a foolish thing to do, I realize.

But lets hope that the mercenaries justify their cost.

Merlin Day 12.

Killed Arthur's skimmer in the north, but failed to find his prowler in the center. That is annoying, have to build some garrisons for my rear towns.

In the south my army was doubled and tommorow i might even think about offensive actions.

Meanwhile one more quest completed and two level 3 units joined my army as reward.

No problem with logs, they are important for 4+ player games, in duels they are more for fun

Merlin Day 13.

Killed a couple of Arthur's lone soldiers today. Trying to lauch some offensive actions here and there, may be will get some result.

Meanwhile managed to loose one of my best units in stupid battle with indies. I knew it was to risky...

Arthur - Day 13

I sacrifice another boar to learn what the advancing enemy has...and the sighting was not good. Doombats, aided by a hero and a chaplain. While moving away, out of the corner of its eye, the boar saw something - a huge troll.

The initial army I could have managed but a troll...

defenses are mounted and a couple of my good units are drawn away to save them...but enough left to hurt the enemy, I hope.

Down south, the news goes from bad to worse...

Merlin Day 14.

Four victories against Arthur today:

- In the north his lone night guard was ambushed by lurking prowler and slain.

- In the south true seeing of my chaplain allowed me to spot two blade dancers and they were killed, although with some losses.

- In the center the boar was frozen to death in gentle yeti's arms.

- Again in the center - an army of Arthur (nine soldiers) was defeated with losses of two minor warriors on my side. Dark elven village there was captured.

But most imortant are news of main Arthur's army. Hero, mystic, 2 water elementals and more lesser troops... It is powerful, but now I'm aware of it.

Arthur - Day 14

It was a day of great losses.
But recoup we shall...

In a senseless attack in the south, I lost a valuable spiderqueen though the infernal cavalry were killed.
The loss in the centre was the most devastating.
The vampire and the abomination would make good use of their skills, I thought...sadly, miserably disproven.

The main army has not escaped the attention of Merlin, it seems. Well, fight we will.

Merlin Day 15.

Hmm, I was almost sure that your prowler retreated back to your lands. My chaplain was patroling the area for two days and missed him. Will have to build more archers to defend towns now

It seems that my control over south region is complete for a moment. Now I can turn my attention to the center. Enemy is heading there obviously, but I'm not sure I want to accept the challenge. Will see how many reinforcements I can bring.

One of my patrols almost managed to catch this prowler, but stoped one step away from him Not good, but may be prowler will be busy saving his life now and will not capture more things.

Enemy army is coming, tommorow I will have to decide what to do with it (unless it attacks me tonight )

Merlin Day 17.

I decided not to attack.More reinforcements are coming to me from the west each day, so why run risks? I have more towns them my enemy and have now merchant skill. For a couple of days I can afford to give initiative to Arthur.

In the north my shaman and Arthur's spearman contined they 'take watchtower and run' game. Sadly this time spearman ran to wrong place and got killed, but I guess Arthur will send another one. He has lots of them ready for game.

Merlin Day 18.

Next Arthur's spearman has played his part of the game and perished. But it seems this funny game is over - Famous Grar and his boys are coming to claim the region.

In the center Arthur created a boar, Danah killed it. This seems to be a funny game as well - "summon pig, kill pig".

Merlin Day 19.

In the north town was captured from Arthur. Although main strike force (warlord and minotaurs) failed to reach the walls today, Grar gathered these axemen and other troops who managed it and himself commanded the assault. The battle was won and only one abomination was lost.

In the center a walking skeleton of Arhtur was killed. I must say that skeletons are not as attractive as boars (I mean their taste ) Danah even refuse to bother hunting it herself and sent yeti to do the work.

After such great victory the war is almost decided. Two armies are marching forht to join near arthur's castle. In several day it will be done.

Armies are advancing swiftly to claim remaining Arthur's territories. His soldiers are retreating to guard the last line of defence; they will not have to wait long. We are coming.

Merlin Day 22.

Once again Arthur's troops launched a counter attack, this time under Arthur's own command. Yet warlord, minotaur, shaman and Lord Grar were invincible. Their powerful stikes slew many and march for Arthur's tower continues.

Danah and her scattered troops are advancing as fast as they can to participate in final battle, but it seems they will be one day late...

Merlin Day 23.

Indeed Danah was late... Mighty lord Grar and his loyal shaman were fast enough to reach Arthur's home today. To help them I summoned a fire hound and that trio finished the war.

I'll go and report results now, ideas about rematch settings sent via email with last turn.
