No hero again? Hmmm... Sent small forces in all directions to discover this vast desert. We are worried that there may be powerful indies about. (or none)

Anon, Day 1

So, Perses' surrender was just an opportunity to gather his forces and strike again, in a new land.

The Archon's pacifist nature makes the lack of a champion slightly less of a burden on us, since they never get very powerful anyway. Looking forward to seeing what these lands hold.

A scout has returned with news. The scent of the despised archons is in the air. Perses smiled. You know what they say about pay-back.

More resources collected, only one small indy found so far. Things go well.

We are exploring in all directions. We have found a shadowgate to the east, as well as spotting what looks like an orcish village in the distance.

My scouts made an attempt to take the draconian outpost, but we were forced to flee.

A small grouping of halflings were relieved of their furnace while scouts continue to secure mana and gold.

The elves guarding the life node were fanatics, and attacked us as we tried to get close. We buried them in the elvish fashion.

Step 3, third times a charm right? : turn begins to load, computer calculates my opponents brilliant strategy. The magnitude of such a strategy borders on the sublime. Computer chugs in awe. Smoke comes from computer.

So, ah... yep. At least it is under warranty. I've been told that I can pick up a new computer on Monday but that means my saves are gone so I'll need a resend please. I'll probably be able to play a couple of turns at a friend's place so I'll generate a restart message but at least you won't have to wait until Monday.

Oh man, that sucks. Sorry to hear it. Return sent.

Gathered a few more resources while heading toward our goal.

A small outpost of draconions had settled in my lands. I negotiated with them to leave. A few had to be convinced with force, but I believe the rest will leave peacefully.

We have travelled far through the harsh desert sands to fulfill a nature quest which proved to be pointless. At least a hero joined our ranks.

A small but powerful band of draconians have emerged from the nearby caves. They seem to have taken offense to our emmigration of their bretheren. I fear for the defenders.

Just the long walk back.

Our champion has righteously slain the beasts living amidst the shipwrecks to the south, and has claimed some useful enchantments. The draconians have turned north. We are unsure of their intentions, but they seem hostile, and we may need to use force against them.

Conquered a useful resource.

Lost a powerful unit against the draconians.

Still movement.

The draconians took over our capitol, briefly. We must bless every street and home that was touched by the infidels.

More movement. That quest was in the middle of nowhere.

We conquered an orc settlement today. The males were put to death and the females were banished to the wilderness.

Elsewhere, we have stumbled across a strange, but seemingly holy, race. They are willing to work with us, and we could use the help.

Can you believe I'm still walking? (Hint: If you're in the desert with nothing around for several days journey, you're near my capital)

This is strange...it's Thursday morning and I still haven't gotten either turn.

Edit: At 10am this morning I got what is probably the first of the two you sent yesterday. Must be a log jam in the system somewhere.

My scout was led by divine inspiration to a most unexpected find. It has changed our plans considerably.

One of my messengers discovered a band of draconians and brought to them the light of truth. Grateful, they have joined our ranks.

Big day tomorrow.

We have discovered new lands across an ocean. Scouts found two magic items today, both almost identical to the ones my champion already carries.

Things went well. Our forces continue to claim all they encounter.

We continue to explore. In the land across the sea we have found brothers who were pleased to join us once again.

There are fairies everywhere it seems. Good thing we have units with true seeing.
